How we treat our patients

We offer person-centered therapy that uses a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they will discover their solutions.The therapist acts as a compassionate facilitator, listening without judgment and acknowledging the client's experience without moving the conversation in another direction. The therapist is there to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client's process of self-discovery.

Dr. Ayodeji E Okorafor is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Capilona Psychiatry. He graduated with honors from Regis College in Weston 2018, Massachusetts; he has had over 12 years of mental health experience.The doctor and his team offer across board Psych eval and medication management, substance abuse eval and referral, Crisis intervention. Treatment and support for grief and Loss, Substance abuse, Stress and Anger, Anxiety and depression, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia. His friendly approach is centered on putting the needs of the patient first.
